We caught up with Leanne Bailey, who runs the channel, during a quick break from baking + filming and asked some questions about what it's like being such an influential social media star! Take a look!
Clicks Talent: Hi Leanne! What do you do when not creating videos for your TheBaileyBakery Channel?
Leanne: When I’m not creating videos you can find me outside on our farm. We own a 200 acre farm and raise cattle and hay. You can find me driving the tractor during the summer months helping with harvesting the hay. I have 4 kids who love to keep me busy too. I also enjoy being crafty and flower gardening when I’m not baking.
Clicks Talent: That's so cool! Did not expect to hear THAT! How long have you been a "Baking" influencer?
Leanne: I’ve been baking cookies for a little over 2 years. I joined Tiktok last August and my following grew quickly. I never expected it to be where it is today.
Clicks Talent: So what is the best thing about being an influencer?
Leanne: I enjoy interacting with my followers and reading their comments. It inspires me when they say that I inspire them.
Clicks Talent: Wow, remarkable! Now tell us, what is the worst thing about being an influencer?
Leanne: Thankfully, I haven’t experienced anything negative yet in this journey. Clicks Talent: So happy to hear! What is the best collaboration that you have done with another influencer?
Leanne: I’ve only done one collaboration so far and that was with @flighthouse [an 18 Million followed account!].
I do have a fun collaboration planned to do with @huxleythepandapuppy coming up that I’m really excited about.
Clicks Talent: Psyched! Can't wait to see it! Tell us something we don’t know about the influencer's work?
Leanne: Well for me personally it’s that I put lots of time into creating a video. Sometimes I can work for an hour or more on just one video. Decorating cookies looks super easy from one sped up video but it takes lots of practice to master the craft.
Clicks Talent: What are your favorite pastries to bake?
Leanne: Besides cookies that I baked almost daily, I like to bake pies. A coconut cream pie is my absolute favorite.
Clicks Talent: How have you gained from working with us at Clicks Talent?
Leanne: Working with Clicks Talent has been a great opportunity. You get to meet and know lots of amazingly talented influencers. Plus, they are always offering me many opportunities that otherwise I would never know about.
Clicks Talent: What tip(s) do you have for anyone trying to create baking video content like you?
Leanne: My advice is to put the work in on perfecting your skills. Be consistent with the quality of videos you produce. Most importantly is to develop your own style, be unique and stand out from everyone else.
